Sandhills Dental Career Center, inc (SDCC) maintains an “open-door” admission policy for high school graduates, or graduates of a GED or equivalent Program who are a minimum of 17 years
Tuition must be paid in full by the 5th day of class. A minimum deposit of $295 is required to complete enrollment at registration. Final exams and certificates will not be awarded until tuition is paid in full.
A full refund will be made if written withdrawal is received 30 days prior to first day of class student has enrolled to begin. Any monies provide by grant programs will be refunded to appropriate program.
If withdrawal is following first day of class and prior to 2nd class, any tuition paid less a $475 processing fee will be refunded within 30 days of written withdrawal.
For any withdrawals from Class 2 through Class 5, $330 per session will be charges plus a $475 processing fee, any remaining balance will be refunded within 30 days of written withdrawal to the appropriate party.
Methods of Payment: Cash, Personal Check, Money Order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, WIA as approved, Alternate Approved Payment Methods.
A graduation certificate, letter of recommendation, and pin will only be awarded to those students attaining a 75% or above grade average. Those students whose grade average is below 75% will not receive a certificate and letter of recommendation, but will be allowed to retake the entire course (if desired) at a reduced fee of $1500.
POLICIES OF LEAVE/ABSENCE
Attendance is critical. Students may have no more than 16 hours of absences and pass. If emergency or medical conditions arise, administration will discuss make-up or transfer arrangements on an individual basis. (DOCTORS NOTICE IS REQUIRED)
LAB MAKE UP DAYS ARE OFFERED ON DAY 10 OF EACH CLASS TO ALLOW OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE UP AND REVIEW LABS.
Students are expected to adhere to a strict honor code and demonstrate a professional attitude at
all times. If students are found cheating on any test or exams or if students participate in any activity felt to jeopardize the safety of fellow students or faculty (physically or verbally), that student will be subject to expulsion with no refund.
